October 2020 - After a 3.5hrs of though double grading, including 4 rounds of sparring, I have been awarded a Kick Boxing “Green Belt” by the British Martial Arts and Boxing Association through the North Start Martial Arts Club (http://www.northstarmartialarts.co.uk/home.html). I was able to successfully demonstrate my effectiveness on the required defense and attack techniques as well as the physical requirements of the grading. Halfway through the “Black Belt” now! A huge thank you to my coach and Martial Arts mentor Liam Camm……“The champions is not the potential, is not the genetics, is the person who always shows up, what I am saying, it is a character of who you are......"

July 2019 - I received the IEOM Distinguished Service Award from the Society of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) for organising and Co-Chairing the 3rd European IEOM Conference, Pilsen, Czech Rep., 23-26 July.
